Teacher barber’s Pupil’s Hair for free

A teacher at Abeadze Taabosom M/A Basic School in the Mfantseman Municipality of central region, Mr. Suleiman Dadzie has taken it upon himself to help pupils in his school keep themselves clean by barbering their hair for them for free. Mr. Suleiman who teaches English Language & RME and doubles as the Assistant Headteacher in an effort to help the students keep their hair neat & evenly low as required, decided to volunteer to barber their hair at no charge. According to the teacher, most students don’t come to school with bushy hair intentionally but a result of their inability to pay for the services of a professional barber or the absence or unwillingness of their “home barber” and hence his reason for doing it. He called on his colleagues to be compassionate towards pupils with bushy hair & not put such students through inhumane treatment. . He said,

“If you take time of your busy schedule to trim down the hairs of your pupils, it doesn’t make you less human..it makes you a better person”

.

He further advised that teachers should further investigate issues with Students to determine the appropriate remedy for their indiscipline

    But please, my humble appeal is that, it shouldn’t be a nine-day wonder.
