Photo showing Shatta Wale with a bruised face has emerged online. This was after Stonebwoy’s manager, Blakk Cedi, punched Shatta Wale in the face. Shatta Wale had gone on stage when Stonebwoy was making a remark after winning the Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year award.
We’ve has seen a photo of Shatta Wale with a battered face at the cheek area from the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Shatta Wale’s face was captured swollen and reddened after he was punched heavily by Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s manager.
This happened when he had walked onto the stage at the time Stonebwoy was making a remark after he was adjudged the winner of the Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year at the just-ended VGMA.
Stonebwoy’s manager, bodyguard, and the fans who were on stage with him interpreted Shatta Wale’s approach to the stage as a looming attack on Stonebwoy and so they quickly turned on Shatta Wale.
In a number of videos circulating on social media, Blakk Cedi was captured landing a hefty blow on Shatta Wale’s face, hence the bruise.
Meanwhile, fans who were at the event have claimed that Shatta Wale had gone onto the stage not to foment trouble but to congratulate Stonebwoy.
In an earlier report, Shatta Wale himself said his intention for going on stage was a good one and not to harm Stonebwoy in any way.
In a related development, both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been invited by the police for questioning on the matter.
